Ultracom app and product changes for 2022

We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions for our customers regarding Ultracom's software and product changes for 2022. One of the most important changes is the arrival of the new Tracker software on June 1, 2022 and the possibility for Ultracom software users to switch to the new Tracker software.

APPS AND PRODUCTS

What app subscriptions are available from June 2022?
The following software products will be available for Ultracom software from June 2022:
  • 12 months subscription for 79 €
  • 1 week subscription for 19 €
  • Team license (3 x 12 months subscription code) for 165 €

The family and the 1-month subscription will go out of sale at the beginning of June. All software products are available in our online store.
Do buyers of the new Team license need to be family members?
No, they do not. Team is similar to the Ultracom Family package, as the difference is that Team licensees do not have to be family members, but you can also buy the package with your friends.
What Ultracom apps will be available for the upcoming hunting season?
The Android and Apple versions of Ultracom Next will still be available for the upcoming hunting season. Only the old Ultracom app will expire in June 2022. We recommend that users of the old app migrate your Ultracom app account to either Ultracom Next or to the new Tracker software released on June 1, 2022. Which Ultracom models will stop to work in June 2022?
Ultracom models that are more than 12 years old will be discontinued on June 1, 2022. These models include the older Dog GPS model (antenna on the side of the dog's neck) and the Upoint module.
Will the already purchased subscription codes codes work after June 2022?
Yes, previously purchased subscription codes still work without issues. Note that the code can only be activated in one app (if you activate the code in Ultracom Next, you will not get the same subscription in the new Tracker program).
Do I need to purchase a cross-tracking service separately anymore?
No need. In the future, the cross-location service will be included in the price of the basic app subscription (see above for more information on the subscriptions available for Ultracom software from June 2022).
I already have a cross-tracking service, what happens to the service?
Your cross-location service will continue to run normally. In the future, when you purchase the subscription of the Ultracom Next app, the cross-location service will be included in the subscription.
If I already own Ultracom Next and Tracker Hunter 6 and I have subscription in both, what happens to my subscriptions?
If both apps are registered to the same phone number, the longer subscription of the two apps will be transferred to the new Tracker app. For example, your Ultracom Next app subscriptios is valid until September 1st, 2022, and your Tracker Hunter 6 subscription is valid until December 1st, 2022, and you have registered both programs to the same phone number. When you install a new Tracker app and register the same phone number in the app, the app checks that do you already have subscription on Ultracom Next and Tracker Hunter 6 and selects a longer subscription time to use in the new app, in this case the Tracker Hunter 6 is valid until 1st of December so the app will select that subscription to be used on the new app.


TRANSFERRING TO THE NEW TRACKER PROGRAM

Switching from Ultracom Next to the new Tracker app

You will be able to transfer your app subscription, devices you, dog profile information, groups and group markings, your own markings, and Map Planner materials. If I already own Ultracom Next and Tracker Hunter 6 and I have subscription in both, what happens to my subscriptions? 
If both apps are registered to the same phone number, the longer subscription of the two apps will be transferred to the new Tracker app. For example, your Ultracom Next app subscriptios is valid until September 1st, 2022, and your Tracker Hunter 6 subscription is valid until December 1st, 2022, and you have registered both programs to the same phone number.
